Planetary Ball Mill - PM-100 (RETSCH, Germany)
Description: PM 100 is a powerful model with a single grinding station and an easy-to-use counterweight which compensates masses up to 8 kg. It allows for grinding up to 220 ml sample material per batch. The mill is ideally suited for tasks in research like mechanochemistry (mechano-synthesis, mechanical alloying and mechanocatalysis), or ultrafine colloidal grinding on a nanometer scale, as well as for mixing and homogenizing soft, hard, brittle or fibrous materials.
Specifications:
Extremely high centrifugal forces result in very high pulverization energy and short grinding times
Powerful and quick grinding down to nano range
Reproducible results due to energy and speed control
Suitable for long-term trials
2 different grinding modes (dry and wet)
Wide range of materials for contamination free grinding
Safety slider for safe operation
Innovative counter weight and imbalance sensor for unsupervised operation
Programmable starting time
**The laboratory is also equipped with Hammer Mill, Ball Mill, Vibrating Mill, Sieving Stack for Granulometric Analysis.
