KFI "Innovative Center of Nanoscience and Technologies"

Five employees of the "Innovative Center for Nanoscience and Technologies" (NTNK) laboratory of KFI: Hermine Gharagulyan, Khachatur Kirakosyan, Avetis Simonyan, Vardan Hayrapetyan, Henrik Parsamyan, headed by the head of the laboratory Mkrtich Yeranosyan, went to the CEITEC Nano RI Center of Excellence of the Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic for training. (https://nano.ceitec.cz/) for a period of one month. It has an ISO 8-ISO 5 standard "Clean Room" with a total area of 2000 m2 (the largest in the Czech Republic, one of the largest in Europe), and is equipped with state-of-the-art nanotechnology equipment.
NTNK employees participated in special trainings dedicated to the operation of equipment in ISO8-ISO5 clean room conditions. Having passed the scheduled examinations and having obtained the right to free access to the "Clean Room" and free use of devices, they are carrying out research planned by a number of grant programs funded by the RA KGMS Science Committee, which are dedicated to obtaining and researching nanostructured systems and preparing nanoelectronic elements based on them.
It should be noted that the CEITEC Nano RI center of excellence is a global consortium project of six leading European scientific and educational organizations. During the visit, it was discussed and a preliminary agreement was reached about the membership of KFI to that consortium. Work on developing the membership road map, formulating documents and settling legal issues is in progress.
