Quantum Nanostructures, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information 

Tigran has defended his Ph.D. in the Physics of Semiconductors with a thesis entitled “Investigation of the Properties of Vertically Coupled Cylindrical Quantum Dots for Quantum Computations”. Currently, he is a scientific researcher at the group of Quantum Optics and Photonics at the Institute of Chemical Physics NAS RA and a lecturer at the Department of General Physics and Quantum Nanostructures at Russian-Armenian University. He has authored 9 scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed journals that have gathered 50+ citations.

Tigran has been actively participating in several national and international grants. He is the beneficiary of two competitions implemented within the framework of the Young Scientists Support Program ("Competition for the Purchase of Scientific Licensed Software Packages", "Competition for Encouraging Young Scientists for the Publication of Scientific Articles"), and Ph.D. Support Program, implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation with the support of PMI Science. Tigran has been awarded with “Best Master Student” (III place) in the field of engineering and Russian-Armenian University's “Student of the Year” awards.
