Laboratory of Catalysis
Laboratory of Catalysis
The Laboratory of Catalysis was founded in 1975. Currently, the laboratory consists of 10 members: the Head of the Laboratory (PhD), two Senior Researchers (PhDs), one Senior Engineer (Doctor of Sciences), one Senior Laboratory Assistant, and five Laboratory Assistants (two Master's students and three Undergraduate students). The laboratory is young, with an average age of 35.
RESEARCH MAIN DIRECTIONS
• Development and improvement of methods for producing highly effective catalysts for dehydrogenation, hydrodeoxygenation, methane dry reforming, and deep oxidation of organic compounds.
• The use of the methods of plasma-mechanochemistry, microwave radiation, and combustion modes to obtain highly efficient catalysts based on nanopowders.
• Development of methods for obtaining highly efficient catalysts for flameless combustion of hydrocarbon fuel.
