Carbon/Sulfur Analyzer - ELEMENTRAC CS-i (ELTRA Elemental Analyzers, Germany)
Description: ELEMENTRAC CS-i is a modern instrument that enables simultaneous quantitative analysis of the total (free and bound) carbon and sulfur elements contained in the sample. The specified element analyzer works by burning the sample with oxygen in a high-temperature induction furnace under the influence of a catalyst, generating gaseous oxides of the corresponding elements (carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide), which are then pumped into the separation and detection chamber and determined in sequence by absorption of infrared radiation.
